Sinterklaas Nails

Hello. I am late to make these nails. Sinterklaas was on 5 Dec,but then we are going to celebrate it tomorrow. It is never too late to receive gifts ;) 

                         

                

Let me tell you Sinterklaas is a celebrate on 5th December in various regions of Europe. So I thought of making some nails. Sinterklaas is an old man just like Santa, who brings gifts. I painted him and Zwarte Piet (these are helpers). Along with that sweet Chocolate letter, pepernoten (spiced cookies), marsepien (sweet made out of almond) and shoe in which a carrot and poem is placed for a Sinterklaas.

I will try to explain in short about Sinterklaas. He lives in Spain and he comes in steamboat to Netherlands for his birthday. He comes with Black Petes who are his helpers. They are black because they are the one who enters through chimney to deliver presents. You also sing songs for Sint. You put a carrots and a your wishlist in a shoe under chimney. If you had behaved as a good kid for whole year, the you receive presents, otherwise Sinterklaas takes you to Spain with him as a punishment.

Borderlands Nails

Hello!!! Who enjoys playing Borderlands? I started playing alone, oe..that was not that much fun. This is my personal opinion. I think 2 players (co-op) game is more fun. Psychos are annoying. I really enjoyed playing this game. So many weapons, so many wierd characters..oh and skugs.:D

I thought of painting them on nails. I painted logo, along with guess who psycho, ClapTrap and a board directing to skug gully. Enjoy!!!

Skyrim Nails

Hello all the geeks out there!! I made these nails inspired by one of my favorite game:  The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. Those who haven't played it yet or don't know about it, I would like to give some explanation.

In this game, you can choose your character, customize them according to your wish. It is an action-role playing game. I went for Wood Elf. You get some extra skills and powers. I got to command animals and resist disease & poison by 50 %.

On my nails, I made a Skyrim logo and a Dragon born on second. :) The middle finger nail have dragon symbol which is on game cover and hand print with "we know" written at the bottom, is a message from Brotherhood, as an invitation to join them.

And on pinky nail, I had made a door symbol when quest is activated.

I am very happy with the result and with the game too ;-) Thank you so much for having a look. What do you think? You can buy them too,  here.

I think I saw this design as a dress pattern. I hope you like it :)

Colorful Squares

This time I didn't knew what to make on my nails. Just went with the flow and this is where I ended up.

It came out somewhat messy. But still colorful :) ;)

Delft Blauw/ Delft Blue Nails

As the title goes, I made these nails inspired by Delft Blauw from Netherlands. I didn't really had a white nail polish, but I managed it somehow. It didn't came out as I wanted it to be, but I like the result. I painted the most typical Dutch things- Cow, windmills, Wooden shoe :)
